2024 predictions: skills, trust, and hybrid multicloud to dominate next year
GUEST OPINION: While technology is advancing at lightning speed, the shortage of skilled professionals across Asia Pacific and Japan capable of harnessing new and emerging technologies poses a significant hurdle. Previous reports estimate that APJ will see the demand for skilled workers in cloud computing grow by more than three-fold through 2025. In Australia alone, data from the Tech Council of Australia shows that Australia needs 600,000 more people to join the tech sector by 2030 in order to meet the national tech jobs target.

Nutanix appoints Aaron White as vice president and general manager APJ sales
COMPANY NEWS: Nutanix, a leader in hybrid multicloud computing, today announced the appointment of Aaron White as vice president and general manager, APJ sales, effective immediately. He will be based in Singapore and report directly to Nutanix’s chief revenue officer Andrew Brinded.
